We were excited to meet Award-Winning Entrepreneur, TEDxSpeaker, Independent Diversity Consultant, and Author, Sonya Barlow who joined us in conversation as part of our interview series to celebrate Women In History Month.
Sonya is not only a business women and Tedx speaker but also the founder of the social enterprise Like Minded Females Network (LMF), which is helping to educate and elevate underrepresented individuals in the workplace by offering mentoring schemes, community forums and corporate advisory. Sonya’s efforts are focused on the challenges women face negotiating the workplace by bridging the skills gap and creating inclusive cultures. She’s facilitated over 200 workshops and has single handedly gown the LMF Network to a global social community of over 30K.
Sonya has been named the winner of the Most Influential Women in Tech UK, Women in Software Change-maker, Top 50 BAME Entrepreneurs under 50, and Marie Claire Future Shaper. Her debut book ‘Unprepared to Entrepreneur’ is now available to pre-order.
