Some of our favourite messages start the same way: "I saw this at my cousin's wedding. Where can I get one?" Over the years, a lot of those messages came from the Emirates. Until recently, our answer meant emails back and forth, sizing questions and a fair bit of waiting.

Why we chose Ounass
We didn't choose Ounass lightly. We'd been looking for the right partner in the region for a while, one whose customers care about how a piece is made, not just how it looks in a photo. Ounass, the Dubai-based luxury platform of Al Tayer Group, felt right from our very first conversations. It's one of the few places in the Gulf where a small atelier sits comfortably next to the big houses and we liked that.
What you'll find in the edit
We picked the designs we're asked about most. There are bridal robes in chiffon, cotton lace and cotton voile, among them the Elarose, the Malaika and the Liliane, which brides tend to reach for on the morning of the wedding. There are night dresses in long and short lengths, a couple of cotton bathrobes and a few day dresses for the mornings that turn into something else. Sizes run from XS to XL.
Made in our atelier in Bursa
Every piece comes out of our atelier in Bursa, where our family has worked with textiles since 1938. Four generations on, we still fuss over the same things. How a seam sits. Whether the lace feels soft against the skin, and not only pretty on the hanger.
